Frequently Asked Questions
What are Over-the-Counter (OTC) Benefits and How do I use them?
➔ OTC benefits are a great way to save money on everyday health-related items.
➔ Most carriers send an OTC card in the mail post-enrollment as part of the welcome kit.
➔ The OTC card can be used at retailers like Walmart, Walgreens, and CVS.
➔ Some carriers also send an OTC catalog and pamphlet, allowing you to order supplies directly by calling the carrier and requesting items to be shipped to your home.
➔ OTC benefits cover a wide variety of items, including pain relievers, toothpaste, cold medications, first aid supplies, and more.
➔ This benefit can help reduce your out-of-pocket costs for necessary health items.
What if my ID Card Not Arrived or Is Missing?
➔ After enrolling in a Medicare Advantage plan, you will receive an ID card in the mail from the carrier, usually within two weeks.
➔ Bring your ID card to any primary care or specialist visits, as it serves as proof of your coverage.
➔ If you haven’t received your ID card yet, our Customer Service team can help check when your plan goes into effect and request a new card from the carrier.
