Senior Healthcare Advisors helping older adults understand insurance coverage

Who We Are

We help seniors, families, caregivers, and other adults understand coverage choices and speak with licensed insurance agents when they need more help. We explain how coverage works, what costs and benefits to review, and what questions to ask before choosing an insurance product.

How We Help

Start with the question that matters to you. Our team can explain the coverage and connect you with a licensed insurance agent for product-specific help.

Understand Your Choices

Learn what each type of insurance does and how it may work with the coverage you already have.

Review Important Details

Review costs, benefits, provider rules, eligibility requirements, coverage limits, and other plan details.

Speak With a Licensed Insurance Agent

Call the team that matches your insurance question and speak with a licensed insurance agent about available options.

Start With Original Medicare

Original Medicare is federal health insurance that includes Medicare Part A and Part B. Part A helps cover inpatient hospital care, skilled nursing facility care, hospice care, and some home health care. Part B helps cover doctors, outpatient care, medical equipment, preventive services, and some home health care.

People with Original Medicare can add a separate Part D prescription drug plan. They can also review Medicare Supplement Insurance to help with some costs that Original Medicare does not pay.

Senior Healthcare Advisors does not provide Original Medicare. Medicare is a federal program. Our role is to help explain how private coverage options can work with or instead of Original Medicare.

Insurance Products We Can Help You Understand

Each product serves a different purpose. Review the type of coverage that matches your question and call the number shown for help.

Medicare

Medicare Advantage

Medicare Advantage, also called Part C, is another way to receive Medicare Part A and Part B benefits through a private health plan approved by Medicare.

Many plans include Part D prescription drug coverage. Plans may also offer benefits beyond Original Medicare. Provider networks, costs, benefits, and availability vary by plan and location.

Medicare

Medicare Supplement

Medicare Supplement Insurance, also called Medigap, is private insurance designed to work with Original Medicare. It helps pay some costs that Medicare Part A and Part B leave to the beneficiary.

Most states use standardized lettered plans such as Plan G and Plan N. Benefits for the same standardized plan letter remain the same across insurers, while premiums can differ.

Home Health Care

Home Health Care insurance is supplemental insurance designed to provide benefits for certain covered care received at home.

Depending on the policy, eligible benefits may help with home health aides, nursing, therapy, prescription costs, caregiver support, or other covered services. Benefits and eligibility rules vary by policy.
